MEET OUR TEAM
Mr. Cheng Lap Yin (鄭立言), Peter, is the Cofounder and Chairman of Smart Chain Enterprises Limited. He is responsible for the strategic planning and overall management of the Company’s business development. Mr. Cheng has almost 30 years of experience in the apparel industry.
Mr. Cheng obtained an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) degree and a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) degree at the City University of Hong Kong. He is also Business Advisor of Operation and Supply Chain Management at College of Business, City University of Hong Kong.
Mr. Cheng is a co-founder of the Hong Kong Apparel Society Limited (HKAS), which is an influential representative organisation of apparel industry SMEs in Hong Kong. He is currently an Executive Committee Member of Sustainable Fashion Business Consortium (SFBC) and Fashion Industry Development Council (FIDC) in Hong Kong.

Mr. Yu Yuen Mau (余遠茂), Banny, is the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director of the group. He is responsible for the global apparel supply chain operation. Mr. Yu has 30 years of experience in the apparel industry.
He is currently leading Smart Chain to transform the traditional apparel supply chain business model through enhancement of ERP system with mobile applications to streamline inspections and order status tracking.
Mr. Yu obtained an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) degree at the City University of Hong Kong. He is currently the Chairman of Hong Kong Apparel Society Limited and an Advisor for Hong Kong Polytechnic University Garment Advisory Committee. Mr. Yu is also a Committee member of Qualifications Framework of Fashion Industry in Education Bureau.
Banny Yu
Executive Director
Mr. Kao Lap Shing (高立誠), Andrew, is the Financial Advisor of Smart Chain Enterprises Limited. He is currently working on transforming Smart Chain from a traditional apparel supply chain management company to a supply chain IT solution provider, in particular, supply chain finance to partner factories. Mr. Kao has been working in the auditing and accounting profession for more than twenty years including formerly Big Eight audit firm and listed companies in apparels and luxury goods.
Mr. Kao received his Bachelor of Social Sciences degree from the University of Hong Kong, a Master of Science degree in Financial Economics from the University of London, a Master of Science degree in Accountancy from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University with Outstanding Academic Achievement Award, and recently a Master of Science in Information System Management from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology with distinction in 2016.
Andrew Kao

Mr. Cheung Chun Kong (張鎮剛), Danny, is the Associate Director of the group. He is responsible for sales and marketing with expertise in denims and maternity items. He has given valuable advices to customers in fabric sourcing and product development. Besides, he is an active advocate of IoT in supply chain management and has successfully developed and implemented RFID solutions in logistics and product development.
Mr. Cheung has 27 years of solid experience working for buying offices with designer brands, garment factories and fabric mills. Accordingly, he fully understands the hassles and concerns of all partners along the supply chain process, and adopts a risk management perspective to assess and mitigate the issues in customer order fulfilment.
Danny Cheung
Associate Director
Mr. Mak Wai Tong (麥偉堂), Walter, is the Associate Director of the Group. He is responsible for the Group’s sales and marketing function with expertise in global manufacturing operations especially in China and Bangladesh. Mr. Mak worked for various multinational companies and gained valuable experience in global operations of the apparel supply chain. He is therefore a veteran in serving the customers with increasing demand for lead time, quality and flexibility. He is currently devoting his valuable experience in enhancing the ERP system in order recap, and bills of materials and their receiving status to help factories to better manage the production.
Mr. Mak obtained a Bachelor of Social Sciences degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and a Master of Arts degree in Fashion and Textiles from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
